Comic Relief has enlisted stars including Dame Dame Judi Dench, Sir Sir Lenny Henry, Benedict Cumberbatch, Joe Lycett, Karim Zeroual, Mo Gilligan, Roman Kemp, and Shappi Khorsandi, to star in a new short film discussing 'how comedy has helped them personally in different ways', to promote Red Nose Day 2021, taking place March 19.

This year's event aims to 'bring the country together through the power of humour' at a time when 'we’ve never needed laughter and a reason to smile more', and Dench commented 'I absolutely and implicitly believe in laughter being the best medicine. Red Nose Day is something we can all enjoy, and goodness knows during this lockdown everyone has relied so much on television and seeing as many films as they can.... I hope we all have a wonderful laugh and at the same time donate something as it goes to a very, very good cause'.
